On more than one occasion brad has helped us out in an emergency. I am an idiot when it comes to home maintenance and repairs. Whenever I call a repair person, I prepare myself to get scammed because I clearly know nothing about what I have encountered.
Enter Brad, from Canyon Springs. What a breath of fresh air. My garage door had come off the track and there was damage to one of the rollers. I called Brad in the morning and he dealt with the issue later in the afternoon.
When he arrived, he did a full inspection of the door and the area requiring the repair. He looked at the door opener, the springs, the rails, the rollers and wires. I was preparing myself for a long list of things that he would need to address, but much to my surprise, I ended up with an analysis off what I might encounter within the next five years. There was zero pressure to correct anything that he assessed (other than the required repair). I actually asked if I should change to a better spring, and he said it wasn’t necessary at this time.
He made the repair AND he tuned up the door. The door is literally performing better than it did when it was brand new. It has never been this quiet. The actual repair looks bullet proof.
He told me what the option were and gave me a quote that he stuck to. The price was very fair, particularly given that my door got a great inspection and was tuned up.

Our Liftmaster opener had a catastrophic failure with one of the plastic cogs ground up to powder. Brad had previously done great work for us on replacing springs so I gave him a call.
What impressed me most about Brad was that he didn't immediately jump to 'replace the unit for $1K+' but rather suggested he could replace the cog.
It is rare to find contractors who don't promote the most costly solution, this is why I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!

Whenever there is a problem with my garage door, Brad is my go-to guy. He is always quick to respond (usually the same day) and also gives great advice over the phone in case he cannot get to you right away. We had to reprogram our garage door opener and replace our remote controls and Brad walked us through the steps and also gave us a fair price on the remotes. My garage door broke, on the weekend and it was impossible to open. I had two doctors' appointments pending on Monday and Tuesday. I phoned Canyon Springs and Brad quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me an appointment for Monday at noon. I explained my doctor situation and he phoned me back and said could fix it Sunday and he did at reasonable cost. I was impressed by his knowledge and how he goes out his way for customers. I’ve lived in my house over 10 years and, in that time, have admittedly not paid a lot of attention to servicing my garage door. As it was appearing to labor and not function as well as it should, I decided it was time to have someone take a look at it. I called Brad at Canyon Springs and found him amazing to deal with! He promptly answered my call (no message required) and arranged to come by a couple of days later. He arrived on time, actually early, was friendly, professional and very capable. He definitely knows his trade. As soon as he arrived and looked at my door, he noticed a couple of issues and told me what he figured he would have to do. As he worked, he explained everything he was doing and why. In very little time, he had remedied the issues and had the door working better than it ever has. He then went about tightening all of the hinges on the door panels, making adjustments and oiling every moving part of the system. I was very pleased with the result and the VERY FAIR price I was charged. I won’t hesitate to recommend Brad to any of my friends and family.

My garage door got jammed partway open at 0815 one morning. I could not move it at all in any direction and the emergency release resulted in a loud bang from the door and a spring broke as did the brackets holding rollers on each side of the door.
I called Canyon Springs and Brad came as soon as he could - he was all finished by 1030.

A snapped garage door spring left me staring at the mechanism and scratching my head. Called Brad at Canyon Springs Overhead Door in the morning and described the problem. Brad could tell just from the address what model of door was installed typically in our development and what parts where needed.
He stopped by an hour later and installed a new coil in less than an hour. And as an added bonus we had a little discussion about muscle cars.

Brad, from Canyon Springs did an amazing job fixing my garage door. He presented me with several options for the specific repair and actually recommended the lowest price option. The door is the quietest it has ever been (better than when it was brand new) and it works perfectly now. What I really appreciated about his service was that he did a thorough inspection of the door (not required for the repair) and made some minor adjustments (also not part of the repair). He gave me a straight up summary of issues that will come up in the future based on the design of the door and lift system. Excellent service!

I needed my garage door repaired in a pinch as the torsion spring had broken. This meant manually lifting and closing the door to get the cars out. From past experience, you need to either pay a premium to get immediate service, or wait a few days for the next scheduled appointment. Our aging (> 30 years) garage door opener was becoming finicky, sometimes refusing to open the door, sometimes straining under the load. We had called Brad at Canyon Springs a few years back to fix a broken torsion spring and were happy with his visit then, so we called him back. Brad and his assistant showed up right when they said they would. They had a look at our existing garage door opener, said it was in excellent condition but for a saggy chain and suggested I reconsider the request to replace the machine! Nonetheless we had the opener replaced - Brad had the replacement with him right in the truck. All in all the time from he drove up until he was showing me how the new unit operated - maybe 75 minutes. Great job, great service at a fair price. I drove into the garage door and popped a few panels out. The door was warped badly to the point it didn't open nor close consistently. I used to have a great garage door guy for 20 years but now he is retired and people I called didn't know what they were doing. They would try to convince me that it would cost a few thousand dollars to replace the whole thing. I asked Siri who was the best door guy near by. She said Canyon Springs Overhead Door. So I called and explained what happened to my door. He said he wanted to come and check it himself and would show up in 30 minutes. He showed up in 25. He just started working on it to figure out if this door was repairable at all. After 20 minutes or so, he was more confident that this door would be doable. he was strapping, drilling, cutting angles, gluing, bolting…all custom work for over a hour. Now the whole door looks pretty good and operates beautifully. I haven't seen this kind of professionalism for quite some time. I was very happy to pay Brad's very modest and reasonable invoice.

This was our second experience with this company, for garage door issues. The first was a broken torsion spring, the second (2 or 3 years later) was a worn out main gear in the door lifter. This is now the second time in 10 years that we have gotten Canyon Springs to replace the garage door spring. Both times we had EXCELLENT service from Canyon Springs. Our garage door gets used constantly and the spring has a lifespan that seems to pick the worst time to break. Even though the spring snapped on Sunday afternoon, we called on Sunday and Brad was here Monday first thing in the morning. We got his name from a neighbor many years ago and have recommended them to neighbors as well. When this latest spring snapped yesterday we were so glad that Brad was still around even after all these years. He also fixed a broken hinge and cable but only replaced parts that were worn or broken. Fast service and a professional job. Highly recommended. Anything with the garage door I wouldn't even consider calling anyone else.

Brad was able to get my broken door spring replaced the same day I called him which these days (pandemic times) is already pretty impressive if not fortunate. He quoted me a price on the phone, stuck to it when it came time to pay but he didn’t just replace the spring. He adjusted and re-supported the tracks, which were operable but somewhat loose, and then lubricated all the pivot points and wheels. None of that was requested nor charged for beyond the original quote. My door is noticeably quieter now. Nice to get those extras from someone that obviously believes in doing things the right way. Call Brad, I’m sure he’ll look after you.

Too many business is changing into more corporate like. I called several garage door companies. They would have an operator answered and have the dispatch call me. Most of their quotes are high. But more important, they don't have the personal touch like the good old days. They come, they fixed and they leave. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, Canyon Springs brings back the good old memories we once had,.... no frills, just straight to the point, but with added personal touch like securing all the hinges on the garage door, greasing the torque spring & roller..... and most importantly, I complained about my garage door been noisy. After noticing frayed wires on one of my garage door cables I called the last repair company I used only to find out they were no longer in business. My garage door would not open, coming up only about 3 inches before crashing down. My car was inside and I needed it badly. I called and described my problem and urgency. He came within 2 hrs, with the required parts and tools since he knew from experience what was wrong: a torsion spring had broken. Not only were the springs replaced but he also straightened out the iron rod which holds the springs to make the movement of the door much smoother. I am a very happy and grateful customer and can't praise him enough for his kind, efficient, and knowledgeable service.

Brad is a true professional: courteous, efficient, timely, and excellent analytical trouble shooter. He correctly identified the primary problem with our garage door, which was a broken spring, and also a secondary follow up issue of a "flopping" door segment due to some exterior damage from a vehicle. I came home from vacation to find my garage door equipment beeping constantly inside the garage, with a red light telling me it needed service. I called Brad and he quickly explained to me that it's just a back-up battery for use in power outages. Since I have a generator for use in power outages, I actually have no use for this extra back-up battery. He instructed me how to unplug that part of the equipment and now everything is working fine and the beeping is gone. Best of all, this was solved for free in a matter of minutes. We would highly recommend Canyon Springs Overhead Door. We have used this Company four times for repairs to both of our automatic garage doors. Twice to replace broken springs one time for each door and twice for adjustments/repairs to the motor mechanism. On Friday October 13, 2017 we had problems shutting one of our garage doors. We called Brad early Saturday morning and reached him immediately. My husband explained the problem to Brad and he talked my husband through making minor adjustments to the down control. This worked a couple of times and then failed. My husband called Brad back and while this was the weekend he took the time to come over Saturday afternoon to replace what turned out to be the main drive assembly.
